TEDxMaastricht – Pieter Kubb – “From the medical knowledge to practice health care”

Wed Pieter Kubbe (@ DigNeurosurgeon) is a doctor from the Netherlands. He is a senior resident in neurosurgery at the Maastricht University Medical Center, and a thesis out of glioma surgery with intraoperative MRI. As a hobby (his term) he is supporting the development of software for mobile computing and clinical decision making, for which he won several international awards. In 2010 he published three medical iPhone Apps information technology and was editor of the open-access journal Surgical Neurology International. One of its applications, called neuro mind was, of course # 1 App for neurosurgery in the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It has been frequently cited in the “Top 10″ on iMedicalApps.com, and is available for Android.
